The Most Inspiring Ecommerce Event. EEE 2023 Recap.

On February 23rd, the second edition of Ecommerce Experience Evolution conference took place, and it was a huge success. Hosted by Miami’s very own ecommerce agency, Absolute Web, and sponsored by top technology companies such as Recharge, Signifyd, Feedonomics, Gorgias, Bloomreach, Tapcart, BigCommerce, Searchspring, and Northbeam, the event brought together some of the brightest minds in the digital commerce space, and attendees were treated to insightful keynotes, engaging panel discussions, and a lively EEE Afterparty, sponsored by Shopify Plus, Klevu, Attentive.

The event kicked off with a keynote address by Kevin Kline, Director of Agency Partnerships at Recharge. In his speech, Kevin highlighted the importance harnessing subscriptions for recurring revenue growth and retention.

His talk was followed by a panel discussion featuring Kristina Muntean, Strategic Partner Manager at Gorgias, and Kevin Gould, Founder of Glamnetic and INH Hair, who shared their insights on the latest trends in customer experience upgrades.

Megan Blissick, Head of Global Agency Partnerships at Signifyd

The day continued with a great keynote presentation by Megan Blissick, Head of Global Agency Partnerships at Signifyd, on how to turn points of friction in the shopping and post-purchase journey into revenue capture and enhanced customer loyalty.

Georgiy Slobodenyuk, Software Architect at Absolute Web

Followed by a highly anticipated keynote by Georgiy Slobodenyuk, Software Architect at Absolute Web. In his speech, Georgiy examined three case studies that demonstrate the different situations in which headless ecommerce solutions may be appropriate.

The first half ended with a powerful panel featuring companies like Snapchat, Walmart, and Amazon, on how they leverage omnichannel optimization and expansion to drive growth and improve their bottom line. Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to network with other ecommerce professionals, exchange ideas, and make valuable connections. The event also featured several breakout sessions, where attendees could dive deeper into specific topics such as digital marketing, customer engagement, and logistics.

The second half started with a Shopify Plus led panel, featuring Marcela Ganem, Sr. Merchant Success Manager at Shopify, Emma Krouglova, Senior Manager, Agency Partnerships, Shopify, Lia Cammarano, Cross-Sell Coach at Shopify, and Marissa Steinmetz, Head of Digital Product, ecommerce at Coterie. The inspiring panel provided insights and solutions for businesses to mitigate the effects of inflation on their ecommerce operations. This presentation also explored the various factors contributing to inflation and how they can impact ecommerce, including increased costs for goods and services, decreased consumer purchasing power, and changes in market demand.

A brilliant keynote presentation followed, by Brandon Amoroso, Founder & President of leading Retention-as-a-Service agency Electriq, on how to create and execute a successful retention marketing program by leveraging an integrated tech stack, customer segmentation, and 1:1 personalization. This session covered how brands can get started with a retention marketing program from scratch all the way to how legacy brands can optimize existing customer retention programs.

The keynote was followed by a very interesting panel talk on the topic of “Effective Strategies for Niche Brands in Ecommerce” with ecommerce experts, Coco Byrd, Senior Ecommerce & Marketing Manager at The Elder Statesman, Lauren Craig, Director of E-Commerce & Website Development at Jenny Yoo, and Emma Krouglova, Senior Manager, Agency Partnerships, Shopify.

Phillip Jackson, Co-Founder of Future Commerce

Phillip Jackson, Co-Founder of Future Commerce, also EEE Miami 2022’s main keynote speaker, joined us again and impressed the audience again with an unique keynote speech titled “I’m So F***ng Bored”: How We Rescue the Web from Dull, Boring, Nothingness”.

Followed by a highly anticipated panel discussion on the topic of “Staying On Top Through Disruption and Innovation”, with special guests from successful ecommerce brands, Sahara Lotti, founder and CEO at Lashify, and Ted Toledano, founder and CEO at Modloft. Panel led by Jeremiah Allen, Ecommerce Growth Advisor at Fat Bullfrog.

And finally, the headline keynote speech by no other but Mr. Wonderful himself, Kevin O’Leary! In his session, Kevin discussed industry changes that are happening now, so you and your company can be prepared for American Business 2.0. It was a remarkable speech, that ended with an exciting Q&A session where the audience and Mr. Kevin O’Leary had a lengthy and captivating discussion on the latest trends in the ecommerce industry.

As the day drew to a close, attendees gathered for a fun and lively afterparty, where they could let loose and enjoy themselves after a day of learning and networking. The afterparty was a great way to cap off the event and provided a fantastic opportunity for attendees to continue building relationships with their peers.
