As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our client’s eCommerce and custom websites.

Miami Office Only

This is a full time position working from our Miami office with hybrid flexibility.

Required Experience

• Experience with performance optimization, bundle optimization, and other performance related tasks.
• Familiarity with other eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento.
• Experience in rapid prototyping for MVPs using Retool, appsmith, or equivalent.
• A keen interest in trying new things and continuous learning.
• Experience with Nuxt, Next, Remix, or similar Full-Stack Javascript Frameworks.
• Proficiency with Laravel, Symfony, or similar PHP Frameworks.
• Experience with Serverless such as Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda, Fastly Compute, or equivalent.
• Experience with AlpineJS

Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions.
• Utilize Chrome DevTools and other debugging tools for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Leverage your Vue and/or React skills to develop beautiful/functional SPAs, MPAs, and interactive components.
• Collaborate closely with the team and clients, brainstorming solutions, sharing your knowledge and learning from others.
• Use project management tools effectively for task organization and progress tracking.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Git.
• Proficiency in full-stack Shopify development.
• Strong skills in Vue and/or React, with the ability to choose the right tool for the job.
• Solid experience with PHP.
• Familiarity with Chrome DevTools and other debugging tools.
• Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal).
• Strong discipline and experience in self-direction and use of Project Management tool like Clickup or equivalent.
• Comfortable with pair programming and sharing knowledge with the team.
• Willingness to ask for help when needed.
