Job Overview

We are Absolute Web, a Miami-based eCommerce Design & Development Agency. We empower Brands & Merchants by proving them both B2B and B2C Adobe Commerce (Magento). We are looking for a superstar Adobe Commerce (Magento) Developer, Full-Stack preferred, but will consider Backend or Frontend developers too.

Job Type: In Person / Hybrid / Remote
Job Location: Miami (United States) / Lisbon (Portugal)

Required Experience

• At least 2 years experience Magento Development in an eCommerce environment
• Experience working with Magento 2 Commerce and Cloud is a plus
• Experience migrating from other platforms to Magento 2 is a plus
• Experience with Ajax and jQuery libraries
• Experience in a previous development agency is a big plus, but not required
• Must have experience with Git or SDN for pushing/pulling code
• PWA experience is a plus (Vue Storefront, React Storefront, PWA Studio)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced Magento Agency with challenging deadlines on projects
• Follow internal Magento development code ethics and review
• Understand task prioritization
• Adapt work inside a Magento team of backend developers, frontend developers, devops technicians, SEO specialists, UX/UI designers, Magento solutions specialists
• Daily tasks can consist of Performance Optimization, Extension Customization, Issue Investigation, Custom Functionality Build, etc
• Assist Project Manager on estimating complex tasks or prospect projects
• Track project time professionally and report on project budgets
• Keep an organized project board and email inbox

Requirements

• Must be Florida-based, Miami area preferably -or- California-based, Los Angeles area preferably
• You are well organized, fast paced and honest
• You are respectful inside a team and you communicate well with your peers
• You are highly motivated and willing to grow fast
• Must have demonstrable backend and/or frontend Magento skills
• Must have good communication skills in English
• Magento 2 Certification(s)
