Job Overview

Absolute Web, eCommerce Agency based in Miami, is looking to hire a long term and full time BigCommerce Developer to join our growing and passionate team. This is an in-house position, but we are considering US or Canada remote candidates as well.

Job Type: In Person / Hybrid / Remote
Job Location: Miami (United States) / Lisbon (Portugal)

Required Experience

Strong knowledge of BigCommerce ecosystem
BigCommerce theme development and customization
Experience working with a development team
Strong understanding of responsive code development
Ability to multi-task and switch between tasks by priority
A great attention to detail
Ability to adapt to a diverse and multi-office agency structure

Requirements

Develop eCommerce websites and applications on the BigCommerce platform
Custom develop BigCommerce themes and customizations
Replatforming projects to BigCommerce
Improve current BigCommerce functionalities on certain projects
Debug and analyze BigCommerce website performance
Integrate 3rd party applications to BigCommerce
Configure Payment, Shipping and other tools within BigCommerce
Know best practices in SEO and Schema implementations
Create responsive layouts based on designs provided (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop)
Working with code version control systems such as Git / SVN
